1. Not All CarPlay Boxes Support Wireless Screen Mirroring
Before diving into how to use wireless screen mirroring, it’s important to know that not every CarPlay Box model supports this feature. Among our current lineup, only the following four models support wireless screen mirroring:
- Smart AI Box
- CarPlay Box Elite
- CarPlay Box Ultra
- CarPlay Box HE PRO
Please note that CarPlay Box Lite and CarPlay Box XE do not support wireless screen mirroring. So before purchasing, we highly recommend checking the product detail page or consulting with our support team to make sure you're selecting a model that meets your needs.
2. How to Use Wireless Screen Mirroring on Different CarPlay Box Models
Once you've got the right device, setting up wireless screen mirroring is straightforward. The process for enabling wireless screen mirroring differs depending on whether you’re using an iPhone or an Android device. Here's how to use this feature on each of the four supported models:
2.1 Smart AI Box/ Carplay Box Elite
• iPhone wireless mirrorlink connection instructions:
1.Turn on your phone's personal hotspot
2.The WiFi of box is set to connect to the personal hotspot of iPhone
3. Click the "EasyConn" App on the interface of Android system
4. Turn on "Airplay" on your iPhone
• Android wireless mirrorlink connection instructions:
1. Download the "CarbitLink" APP from Play store
2.Turn on your phone's personal hotspot
3.The WiFi of box is set to connect to the personal hotspot of the mobile phone
4.Click the "EasyConn" App on the interface of Android system
5. Click the “CarbitLink” APP on your mobile phone and click on Screen mirroring, then a message with”CarbitLink” will pop up on your mobile phone, click Start now.
6. Connect your phone to the Bluetooth of box“Smart Ai Box .
(Note: If you use an Android phone to connect to the Bluetooth of box, it will automatically connect to the wireless Android Auto, please go to SpeedPlay APP - Settings - Turn off wireless auto-connect option )

3. Want to Stream YouTube or Netflix? You Don’t Have to Mirror
While wireless screen mirroring is great for displaying your phone screen on the car display, it’s not the only way to watch content. If you want to enjoy streaming services like YouTube or Netflix, you don’t even need to mirror your phone.
Most of our Carplay Box models come pre-installed with YouTube and Netflix. You can launch these apps directly from the box. Alternatively, you can download additional streaming apps like Disney+ or Spotify via APKPure or the Google Play Store, depending on your region and app availability.
To stream content or download apps, you first need to establish a stable internet connection for your CarPlay Box. Here's how.
- Use Wi-Fi or a Mobile Hotspot:
- Turn on Wi-Fi (from your home network, garage Wi-Fi, or a mobile Wi-Fi device).
- Alternatively, enable the hotspot on your smartphone to share internet access with the CarPlay Box.
- Use a SIM Card (For Compatible Models):
- If you're using a model like the CarPlay Box Ultra or CarPlay Box XE or Carplay Box HE PRO you can insert a SIM card into the device.
- Connect to Wi-Fi via CarPlay Box Settings:
- Open the CarPlay Box settings.
- Select "Wi-Fi" and connect to an available network.
Once your CarPlay Box is connected to the internet, you're ready to start streaming!
