Q1. Will the Android CarPlay box (Ultra/Elite/Smart/XE/HE PRO/Lite) be compatible with my vehicle?

If your vehicle is equipped with a factory-installed wired CarPlay system, then these products are compatible. This includes vehicles with both wired and wireless CarPlay function.

However, please note that this product is not compatible with vehicles that only have a wireless CarPlay connection such as the entire BMW series.

Q2. How do I know if my car has wired CarPlay?

Three ways to check if your car has wired CarPlay function:

  1. Check if there is a CarPlay icon on the car audio screen: Some car manufacturers display the CarPlay icon on the car stereo screen.
  2. Use an iPhone to test each USB port on the car stereo: Connect the car stereo to the iPhone with a USB cable. If a pop-up window about using CarPlay appears on the phone, it means your car has a CarPlay function.
  3. Consult a car dealer
Q3. How to play videos on CarPlay?

  3. CarPlay AI Box Elite / Smart: Qualcomm's latest quad-core processor, 2G+32G memory, supports WiFi internet access only.
  4. CarPlay AI Box HE PRO: Qualcomm's highest performance octa-core 6225 chip, 8G+128G memory, includes HDMI output.

Note: All models upgrade the original car display to Android, support app downloads like YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, and support wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Differences lie in chip speed and memory size.

Q5. Do CarPlay AI box adapters drain the battery?

Definitely not! The OneCarStereo CarPlay AI Box has minimal power consumption and won't significantly affect your car or phone battery. If the adapter’s light blinks after shutting off the car, it's just residual USB current. You can unplug it or ignore it — it will auto power off shortly.

Q6. Can I use the original parking backup camera with the CarPlay AI box?

Yes! The CarPlay AI Box works as a standalone infotainment system and will not interfere with your backup camera.

Q7. How to install Apple CarPlay in an old car?

A wireless adapter won’t work unless your vehicle already supports CarPlay or Android Auto. Instead, install a new double-DIN stereo that supports wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.

  1. New orders ship within 2 working days and usually arrive in 4–7 days.
  2. Orders ship from our California warehouse via USPS or from Hong Kong via DHL/FedEx, depending on your region.

Q11. Do I need to pay for shipping and taxes in my country for my order?
  1. We offer free worldwide shipping. Orders are delivered in 4–7 business days from California (USPS) or Hong Kong (DHL/FedEx). Tracking is sent via email.
  2. Only some European countries may apply import taxes. If this happens, contact us at support@onecarstereo.com for assistance.
Q12. What kind of after-sales service will I get?
  1. All products come with a 12-month warranty and lifetime technical support. For manuals, software upgrades, or questions, email support@onecarstereo.com.
  2. Lost, stolen, or damaged items are not covered. If eligible, we’ll replace the product or offer a similar model if unavailable.
